Ames Dining Room

I don’t know anyone who enjoys setting a beautiful table more than the customer who inspired this collection. She is unerringly elegant and highly thoughtful, two qualities that make being a guest in her home a treat. Although we belong to different generations, she and I can share endless happy hours considering an optimal furniture arrangement, debating terracotta pot colors or discussing various napkin folds. She will share a remembrance of grand entertaining days past, like her mother-in-law tearing rose petals from the garden to float in the finger bowls. And in the same breath, she’ll inform you of the latest bakery opening across town (“divine flourless chocolate cake!”) or her under-the-radar source for straight-from-the-field dahlias (“just stunning” and loosely arranged in antique Indian lassi cups on her poured concrete dining table). It is with her spirit of modern elegance in mind that we created the Ames Dining Room collection.
