De Vera: Jewelry

Since opening his first gallery in San Francisco in 1991, Federico de Vera has become world-renowned for his masterfully-curated collections of objects and jewelry composed of Venetian glass, Japanese lacquer, ivory carvings, 18th century religious figures, ancient Roman intaglios and other precious materials. In De Vera: Jewelry, Anita Calero’s stunning photographs capture both antique jewelry from De Vera’s collection as well as jewelry he designed, photographed against a signature de Vera backdrop of antique prints or intriguing tableaux.
