Flamingo Estate Candles

The three first products created for the Flamingo Estate collection were the tomato, rosemary and sage candles, made from the oils from the three plants which blanket the California property. Roma Heirloom Tomato is their signature scent of crushed tomato leaves that has built a cult following–uniquely green and summery. Climbing Tuscan Rosemary is an herbaceous and mentally stimulating scent thought to enhance memory, intelligence and dreaming. And Adriatic Muscatel Sage has a deep earthiness that is thought to cleanse the air of negative energy. Nestled in the eastern hills of Los Angeles, Flamingo Estate is the seven acre private paradise of former advertising executive Richard Christiansen. Christiansen has cultivated organic gardens throughout the property, creating a lush sanctuary that includes more than a hundred botanical species as well as fruit trees and vegetables. Although the estate is not open to the public, he shares his bounty through an eponymous line of natural products intended to invigorate the senses and nourish the soul.
