Laboratorio Paravicini was founded on a simple yet ambitious plan to create beautiful handmade plates and tableware suitable for everyday use. The Milanese workshop was started nearly 30 years ago by artist Costanza Paravicini, whose elegant brushstrokes imbue vibrant scenes onto ceramic dishes before they are fired and glazed. One plate can take up to ten hours to create. Paravicini works with her daughters, who ensure their mother’s classical designs, rooted in antique imagery, maintain a modern sensibility.
