Mason's Ironstone Soup Bowls, set of 9
$2,300.00
This set of nine English Ironstone soup bowls was crafted by Mason’s, a family of notable potters in Staffordshire, England who were the first to patent Ironstone as a durable and more affordable alternative to porcelain. From 1800 well into the 1990s, Mason’s produced their beautifully-decorated, hard, dense white earthenware china, eventually joining the Wedgwood Group. This set is marked ‘Mason’s Patent Ironstone China’ pattern ‘Belvedere’, dating to the 1960s. Additional photos available upon request to curious@rrunberg.com.
