Japanese Floral Pin Frog

A kenzan, or pin frog, is the essential tool for ikebana and other architectural floral arrangements — a heavy base fitted with closely-spaced pins that hold stems firmly in place, and a rubber attachment on the underside to keep it secure within a vessel. Ours is made of rust-resistant stainless steel and hand-crafted in Japan. To use, simply set the frog in a shallow bowl or dish, fill with water, trim stems to the desired length, and insert directly onto the pins.
