A reissue of Wedgwood’s Georgian-era ‘Nautilus’ pattern, this covered sauce tureen and its matching underplate take their fluted, shell-inspired form from the maker’s original 18th-century design. Cast in matte cream Queen’s Ware, with a small shell finial atop the lid. The tureen sits on a low pedestal foot and lifts easily from its stand for service and cleaning. Intended for sauce or gravy at the table, though equally suited to a small serving of relish, chutney, or other condiment. Dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to preserve the glaze over time.
