The best part of my business is getting to know the talented artisans we work with and sharing their stories with our customers. So when Alexandre, director at the 300-year-old Viennese porcelain house Augarten, visited us in Charlotte, we gathered with friends for an intimate dinner at home to welcome him and learn more about his extraordinary company. Naturally, we began the evening sipping champagne from Augarten’s porcelain champagne bowls before moving to the dining room to a table laid with Jeunesse, one of my own favorite patterns, and armloads of flowers.
