The Hiero Cushion is a tribute to ancient forms and sacred signs: abstracted, sculptural shapes evoking ancient hieroglyphics, appliquéd onto a finely striped terracotta ground. Hand-appliquéd using fabric handwoven in southern Egypt, once the textile heartland of Ancient Egypt, each one takes at least three skilled artisans to craft, making it as meaningful as it is beautiful. Firm down-alternative insert. Machine wash, gentle cold cycle. Reshape and dry flat; do not tumble dry or bleach. Cool iron if needed.
