Khufu Playing Cards Set

The Khufu Playing Cards are a set of illustrated playing cards designed to bring humor, color, and character to a familiar game. Featuring two customised decks, one red and one blue, each card draws on ANŪT Cairo’s graphic language – reworking Ancient Egyptian figures and symbols into playful, contemporary illustrations. The cards are housed in a sturdy, beautifully hand-embroidered canvas case, printed with some of Anūt’s signature motifs. A bold yellow image of the goddess Nut sits at the centre, surrounded by a constellation of pharaonic line drawings, while the phrase Lucky in love, lucky in cards sets a light, celebratory tone. Whether used for game nights, displayed on a coffee table, or given as a thoughtful gift, the Khufu Playing Cards are designed to be both functional and decorative – a small object that brings joy, storytelling, and a touch of Egyptian-inspired design into everyday life.
