Oyster Shell Salt Cellars, pair

This pair of salt cellars handmade by shellwork artist Tess Morley features mollusks, sea snails, and scallop shells.

Tess Morley’s intricate shell-embellished designs are exquisite examples of nature’s boundless beauty. She began creating shellwork sailor’s valentines as a child on England’s coast and is now an internationally renowned artist. Morley creates shellwork masterpieces including the obelisks, decorative panels, and objets d’art commissioned by R. Runberg. She also has dedicated much of her career to preserving historic shellwork grottos and follies on National Trust properties throughout Great Britain.
